What it does

A diary that keeps itself

A photo instead of manual entry

Photograph your food — the app recognizes the dish and portion, counts calories and macros. Got it wrong? Fix it in one tap.

What's left for today

How much you can still eat today is always in view, recalculated after every entry.

Meal suggestions for what's left

530 kcal to go? The app suggests what to eat — from recipes and your nutritionist's recommendations.

Recipes

Ready-made dishes with calories — into the diary in one tap.

Tasks and plan

If you work with a nutritionist, their plan and tasks appear right here. Tick off what's done.

Reminders

For meals, weigh-ins and tasks — at the times that suit you.

A recipe for what's left

268 kcal to go — here's what to cook

The app knows how many calories and how much protein are left until your target, and writes a recipe to fit — taking into account what's in the fridge and how you like to cook.

  1. 1Pick a meal — the calorie and macro goal fills in by itself.
  2. 2Diet type: no preference, high protein, vegetarian, vegan. Plus wishes in plain words: “no dairy, oven-baked, must have chicken and mushrooms”.
  3. 3Get a recipe with ingredients, steps and macros. One tap — and it's in the diary.
With a nutritionist

Getting dinner approved — one click

Connect to your nutritionist with a link or a code — they will see your diary and progress in their workspace, approve a meal, set a plan and comment right on an entry. Nothing to forward. No nutritionist? The app works as a regular tracker.

FAQ

Common questions

How much does the app cost?

For clients it is free. There are no paid features at the moment.

How accurate is the AI calorie count?

It recognizes the dish and estimates the portion from a photo — it is an estimate, not a lab analysis. You can correct the weight and ingredients by hand; if you work with a nutritionist, they see both the photo and the numbers.

Does the app replace a doctor?

No. Lipsis is a tool for keeping a food diary and working with a nutritionist, not a medical service. If you have a medical condition or dietary restrictions, talk to a doctor first.

How do I connect my nutritionist?

Ask them for an invite link or code and enter it in the app. If your nutritionist isn't on Lipsis yet, show them the page for nutritionists.
